'One of my calligraphy called 'Nur' or 'Light'

There were survey in Singapore on Muslim children from 7 year old upwards.
It was known that only 40% of them had attended religion classes.
I was thinking if it is the case how can these children going to grow up to be true good Muslims if from the very early age they are not exposed to what Islam is all about.

How in future they are going to differentiate what is Islamic and what is not ? How are they going to lead a family of their own following Islamic teachings when they are married etc ?......

I once heard a Hadith saying that there will be a time that Islam is only by the name and not being practised as it should be. Oh it is really sad if living in a modern country, having all riches and most advance technologies but lack of inner spiritual and moral values.

But Alhamdulillah it is being looked into by relevant Islamic organizations and Insha Allah lets pray that there will be a big change in this.

In the past, I was one who benefited from attending religious classes in the mosque. Then we had our religious classes whether in the morning or afternoon because have to see when was our secular school time and we had our religious classes for two or three times a week.

But now I see that children are able to attend this religious classes only on weekends because during the weekdays they had tight secular school schedules and too much homework to do.

As a mother, it is not easy to nurture a teenager in this era. I have to know how to try to quickly, confront, tolerate or solve any situations and problems that my child is facing.

With peers pressure and so on make me thinking that even with our previous pass experiences sometimes doesn't be able to compare ours to what was happening to today teenagers.

Yes, I agreed maybe in the past an uneducated parents could raise up a well behaved and well performed educated children but now maybe it is going to be more a challenge. So no matter what kind of children we have, as a parents we must not give up hope and prayers for them even it takes time to make a change in them.

Returning back to Islamic teachings can make us not only be a good Muslim and Insha Allah bring good example values in the eyes of the world and successful in the hereafter.......

News about countries where there are wars that involves death of many innocent people young and old always makes me feel sad and sometimes don’t understand what or why these wars are all about.

Wars not only it destroyed one country but also the environment. Actually there is nothing we can do about it . Just prayed for them and hope our country do not fall into such situations too.

All mankind are the same and whether one is rich or poor. Our blood is red in colour and in liquid form isn’t it? Not that some are made of gold and some made of water.

Actually Allah (GOD in Islam) has created us to live, learn and respect each other. Whether we are from different races, practices and believe we have the rights and must try to live together harmoniously.

But anyway humans are humans because we have our greed and treats. I still hope for a better tomorrow and world especially for our children.
This is just my thoughts and hopes or maybe I am wrong..

You'll noticed that I had wrote too the Islamic Hijrah date today in this page. Because I think as a  Muslim, it is good as a reminder for me to keep track of the Islamic calendar date since now it is nearly forgotten especially for the younger generations. Many Islamic practices are in accordance to this Islamic Hijrah calendar such as everyday prayers time etc...so it is best to keep in mind always.

In this weather, some feel hot and sweaty and some even had fallen sick.

As I watch the news and saw that neighbouring countries too are facing unexpected weather changes. There are some countries even faced more severe conditions than we are.

We are facing global climate changes due to modernisation & development that is happening so rapidly throughout the whole world which had affected almost everything around us. Hope that every tiny efforts to change that bad habits will make this planet a better place to live which we have called it our 'HOME'.
